HERMANUS
Hermanus is a beautiful costal town around 90 minutes Southeast from Cape Town. Known as one of the best spots in the world for whale watching,this will be our base for the next 4 days. Staying in a luxury private villa from here we will explore this beautiful costal town hiking along the Fernkloof Nature Reserve while keeping an eye out for the Whales that make this place there home from June – November or laze on one of the pristine Blue Flag beaches.
We will not only see the Whales (Southern Rights, Humpbacks and other species) on a boat trip but get up close and personal with them on a kayaking trip with them in Walker bay. Visit Gansbaai, famous for its Shark diving. Here you will get chance to jump into the water with the Ultimate Apex predator. the Great White Shark, no diving experience required. Sample the local wines of Hermanus on our organised wine tasting tour of Bengula Cove with its exclusive setting on the Botriver Lagoon, a natural lagoon overlooking the Atlantic Ocean with the backdrop of the mountains makes this a most wonderful venue. Go horse riding on pristine white beaches and even swim in the ocean with the horses.
CAPE TOWN
Cape Town, often described as Africa’s greatest city. This is where we will be staying in a luxury private villa for the next 4 days. From here we will enjoy seeing the sights of this historic city. Experience a Cape Peninsula tour, exploring the most scenic part of this jagged landscape. Visit Boulders beach, home to a colony of African Penguins, and finish in the Cape of good hope and Cape Point, the most southerly tip of the Cape Peninsula where the two oceanic currents collide. Take a short boat ride over to Robin island and experience a guided tour from local experts and ex imitates of the notorious prison.
Climb or enjoy a thrilling ride up Table Mountain, and for those brave enough abseil from the top over 100m down to a cliff path. Spend an afternoon relaxing on the beautiful beaches of Camps Bay, visit the historic V & A Waterfront and sample the world class restaurants this region has to offer, Cape Town really does have it all.
PRIVATE GAME RESERVE
Our 5 star game lodge offers intimate and luxurious accommodation in the midst of the spectacular African beauty. The panoramic views over the African Savannah are a sight to behold.
